Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.

  2. In a large bowl, whip butter, cream cheese, vanilla, and egg until fluffy.

  3. Stir in cake mix gradually. Then chill batter for at least half an hour.

  4. Drop teaspoons full of batter into powdered sugar and roll into balls. Place onto cookie sheet with plenty of space between. Chill batter between cookie batches.

  5. Bake for about 12 minutes or until cookies are just starting to turn golden brown.

  6. Cool cookies on wire racks, then sprinkle with powdered sugar again when fully cooled.
